Flavorful Focaccia – Dose Gefsi – Simple, Quick & Delicious
Εxecution
First, we place the yeast in a bowl with the lukewarm water from our recipe and mix with a pinch of sugar in order to activate the yeast. Then we place the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl, add the yeast mixture and mix them all together with a spoon. Knead by hand – stretch and fold the dough until it stops sticking to the hands. We repeat as many times as we can so that it becomes elastic.
We let our dough rest for at least half an hour.
Then we spread semolina on our pan to cover it and place our dough on the semolina. Pour 2-3 tbsp. olive oil and poke holes in the dough with our fingers. After covering our pan with a fresh towel, let our dough rest and rise for 40 minutes.
Finally, we bake it at 200 C for 25 minutes.
Bon appetit.
